Full Spectrum

Full spectrum describes a product that is derived from industrial hemp plants.  It is carefully extracted to preserve the most desirable compounds of the hemp plants – namely the cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes in their naturally occurring proportions.  Many believe that full spectrum products are more effective) at providing relief than isolates or distillates (which have high concentrations of CBD, but little or no terpenes, flavonoids or minor cannabinoids.  CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD, which is produced by removing all of the other compounds found in the plant including terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids.  Broad Spectrum is a term for CBD products that contain multiple cannabinoids, but no THC.  The THC has been removed to avoid positive drug testing.

The full spectrum extract preserves the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids so that they work together providing better relief than pure CBD products.  Together they produce a synergetic effect known as the “entourage effect”.
